單元概要
This module aims to help students take control of their daily money issues including loan and investment via various real-life financial materials and/or situations. This module mainly focuses on the usage of spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft-Excel, Apple-Numbers) and the selection of the best strategies to manage daily money issues. Students are required to understand basic mathematical and/or statistical methods and techniques. Topics include ideas for predicting trends of interest rate, estimating market-price behavior, etc.

Upon completion of this module, students should be able to:
- Investigate the fundamental construction of financial products;
- Develop and apply statistical methods for daily financial applications;
- Use spreadsheet software to solve models of financial products; and4. Apply appropriate statistical methods for daily financial aid.
